Prosthodontic Procedures

Bridges
Dental bridges replace missing teeth using pontics, anchored by adjacent crowns. Prep abutment teeth in first visit, impressions taken. Temporary bridge protects while custom bridge is crafted. Second visit: adjust, fit permanent bridge. Restore function, appearance, confidence. With care and regular checks, bridges offer lasting results, maintaining oral health and enhancing quality of life.
Dentures: Full & Partial
Dentures replace all/most missing teeth, while partial dentures replace some teeth. Custom-made with artificial teeth on gum-like base. Typically acrylic, metal framework for stability. Process: impressions, fittings, adjustments. Removable for cleaning. Restore function, appearance, speech, and quality of life. Check-ups and care vital for longevity and comfort.

Implants
Dental implants offer natural-looking, permanent tooth replacement. Titanium posts integrate with the jawbone for stability. They restore function, aesthetics, and prevent bone loss. Suitable for single, multiple, or full arch replacements. Two phases: implant placement and restoration. With proper care, they provide lifelong solutions and preserve overall oral health.
Phases of Implant Placement

1
Implant Placement Phase
In this first phase, the implant is surgically placed into the jawbone. The dentist or oral surgeon will create an incision in the gum tissue to expose the underlying bone. Then, using specialized drills and instruments, they will carefully prepare a space in the bone for the implant. The implant, usually made of titanium, is then inserted into the prepared site. Over the next few months, the implant undergoes a process called osseointegration, where it fuses with the surrounding bone, providing a stable foundation for the replacement tooth.
2
Restoration Phase
Following successful implant integration, the restoration phase commences. The abutment, connecting the implant and crown, is attached after exposing the implant through a gum incision. Impression-taking aids custom crown creation, mimicking natural teeth's color, shape, and size. The final restoration is carefully secured to the abutment, finalizing the dental implant procedure with a seamless, lifelike result.

Implant Supported Denture
Implant-supported dentures are a modern and effective solution for individuals who have lost multiple teeth or require full arch restoration. These dentures are securely anchored to dental implants that are surgically placed into the jawbone. The implants act as artificial tooth roots, providing a stable foundation for the denture. This not only enhances the stability and functionality of the denture but also helps preserve the jawbone and prevent bone loss. Implant-supported dentures offer improved comfort, chewing efficiency, and confidence, as they eliminate the need for adhesives and reduce the risk of denture slippage. With proper care, implant-supported dentures can provide a long-lasting and natural-looking solution for patients seeking a comfortable and reliable tooth replacement option.
